Acted as laboratory coordinator for a Phase III vaccine efficacy trial involving laboratories in Baltimore, MD; Cuernavaca, México; and Guatemala City, Guatemala. Established Quality Assurance program for all three laboratories; created and revised standard operating procedures for analytical, preventive maintenance and transportation procedures; coordinated international shipments of supplies and infectious specimens; maintained Microsoft Excel and Access databases of laboratory results. Developed intermediate fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
