I recently received my PhD from the Graduate Group in Microbiology at UC Berkeley. My research on dengue virus, which causes the mosquito-borne illness dengue fever, was carried out within the laboratory of Eva Harris at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. My current research involves enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli in the laboratory of Maria Brandl within the Produce Safety and Microbiology Research Unit of the Agricultural Research Service of the USDA.
